This is the exploration music of world 2, The Still Bastion.
Inspired by images of a cold keep that popped into my mind when looking at the concept art. I thought that bringing
some instrument voicings from The Entangled Ingress and then instead of warm nylon guitars I recorded scratchy cold
electric guitars and breezy tones from a Yamaha CP keyboard with delayed wurlitzer tones.
Although that's roughly half the story, some deep ancient crusty thought came to mind, "what if there's frozen, talking mechanical heads?".
I simply couldn't scratch such a dumb idea away and I started adding 'vowel filters' and 'talk box' effects onto stuff, kinda thinking about the
demonic robots singing and chanting nonsense, these "talking heads" kinda became a thing with me for ScourgeBringer from that point onward and I based all the robot sounds in the game with this general idea. (And I hid a sound in the game that may be connected in some way, or maybe not, I don't remember, where was I, oh, right, no cucumber)
